Trish & Dexter (part one) | Rochester, NY modern wedding photographer

Is it wedding season already?? Ok not quite, but I went a long with Chelse from EIEIO / Glow Photography for an awesome (and rare) winter wedding.

I'm taking a limited number of weddings for myself this year, but I'm 2nd shooting a lot so you'll still get to see tons of amazing wedding images all year. I'm blogging this one in 2 parts because there is too much I want to talk about!

First the venue: The Del Monte Lodge. I have only good to say!! Gorgeous facility, great set up for a smaller event, wonderfully attentive staff, AMAZING food. Highly recommend checking it out brides!

Ok now on to the photos. As a 2nd shooter I get the fun of taking lots of non-traditional and detail shots and it's soooo much fun.

Despite it being 7 degrees out, and the bride being in open toe shoes, they ventured outside for some family photos. Chelse was working with the kids and I snuck behind some branches to get this candid of them looking on.

This cake is too cute with the little bride & groom birds! Best winter themed cake ever!

Details, details details!!

I happened to walk by the bride & groom's table - love the table tags for themselves, and how the bride's spot is marked by her bouquet, which the groom's is marked by a beer :-)

A band in the background makes for a super cool first dance!

Have a great rest of your weekend everyone and look for part 2 of this event in the next day or so!
