Turning 7 {rochester, ny} modern child, tween, teen portrait photographer

I don't see a lot of school age kids in the studio.  I guess it's because of school portraits.  I get it, as a mom, anything that makes your life simpler is necessary.  But that boring photo (albeit beautiful because it is your beautiful child afterall) doesn't begin to touch on who your child is.  It simply documents what they looked like at that age.

I like to take it further with your session.  Draw out your child's personality.  Let them bring along an item or two that defines this age.  It's the true memory-making aspect of my work that I simply adore!  Bring me those school-age beauties; I can't wait to tell their story!
